Coruscate Innovations began with a dream. I have always had an eye for fashion and have always drawn sketches with the hope of starting my own clothing line as well as a business. This dream was only a fantasy until June 2011, where I decided to make it a reality. After drawing a few sketches, I decided that I not only wanted to design, but also sew the designs that I put on paper.

I began sewing in June 2011 when I attempted to sew my own dress for a church convention I would be attending in July 2011. After many days of cutting and sewing, l  finally produced a finished product. Being that I was never taught how to sew I was inspired by the compliments I received at the convention. As a result I started sew clothing for close friends to gain more experience which has brought me to where I am now.

Coruscate Innovations is currently a home-based business that will expand into a store. The word “Coruscate” means bringing forth light, to shine or to sparkle. These are just a few definitions, and therefore I have based​ this business on the biblical verse, Matthew 5:16, which states, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

​I am letting my light shine through the gift that the Lord has blessed me with, and I know he will bring this business to higher heights in His name.​
