Coruscate Innovations is a high-end United States of America based clothing line that incorporates a variety of fabrics including Ghanaian fabrics and textiles in the construction of its products.

 

The word “Coruscate” means bringing forth light, to shine or to sparkle. These are just a few definitions, and therefore this brand is based on the biblical verse, Matthew 5:16, which states, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Coruscate Innovations aims to empower women through unique fashionable items by infusing the rich culture of Ghana into a more modern style of clothing. We are “Draping LIGHT to Fashion” by creating wholesome clothing for the modern woman.

The brand was founded in June 2011, where founder and designer, Cynthia Kyei-Akomeah, decided to turn her sketches into physical pieces that could be worn and after successfully constructing clothing for herself, began to construct clothing for close friends while receiving great praise.

Coruscate Innovations was launched in March 2012, where we participated in our first fashion show, “Heal the World”, at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Massachusetts. We have participated in many other college fashion shows including the well-known A.S.U.B.A. 2012 Fashion show of University at Albany in Albany, New York and are in the process of being scheduled and invited to more shows for the remainder of the year.

After about two years in business, Coruscate Innovations has grown tremendously and continues to reach out and make its brand known to individuals all over the world.
